A client of ours in Lexington KY is seeking a part-time Medical Billing Specialist. This position requires previous medical billing experience and is a part-time temporary to permanent position. This position is responsible for following up with payers on unpaid claims, researching denied claims, analyzing codes and determining accuracy, and collecting payments from insurance companies. Someone with exposure to all providers is preferred. The ideal candidate will be proficient with MS Outlook and Word. Our client is also seeking someone who is familiar with MS Excel reports and reviewing AR reports.
Working hours: M-F part-time hours are flexible
Qualifications:
- 2-3 year's experience
- Familiar with MS Excel, Outlook, and Word

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
