Join our development team and assist us in new development and sizeable enhancements for our core applications and service based technologies. This team member will play a key role in positioning our company's technology solutions for the future.
This is a Developer position on our Accounting and Finance Solutions Team that will work closely to develop and maintain Web-Technology, Windows Forms and Windows Service based business solutions for project owners, users, and other IT teams.
This position will be based out of TQL Headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio, relocation available.
Builds new solutions with one or more of 2.0/3.5, MVC4, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Windows Forms, .NET/C# and MSSQL Server 2005/2008.
Supports and maintains existing web applications or Windows applications or Windows Services troubleshooting issues as they arise and recommending improvements.
Tests and documents new applications, changes, and interacts with team members.
Works with project owners and analysts during system design to determine needs and to plan solutions.
Communicates with project owners, Accounting and Finance Team, and other IT teams regarding project progress and issue resolutions.
Supports servers for related functions.
Works with the training department to create software training curriculum for end users.
Experience with business related Windows or web based business applications.
Experience designing, manipulating and querying data structures for business applications.
Experience with integration of data between systems.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#.net, , and T-SQL.
Experience with Microsoft tools & technologies, including Visual Studio, Visual SourceSafe, IIS and MSSQL Server. Microsoft Team Foundation Server a plus.
Ability to research, recommend, and apply new solutions as they emerge.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Can effectively handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and superior problem-solving skills.
