Description Your job, as a Branch Service Associate, is to:
o Performing cash management functions, processing securities and correspondence, keeping records
and performing margin activities
o Greeting and assisting clients and visitors to the Branch and providing administrative assistance when
needed
o Trade processing and handling Financial Advisor corrections
o Maintaining the new account process for the Branch
o Interface with external clients, anticipate their needs, and follow through to provide exceptional
service
o Provide service to internal branch clients by interfacing with management, managing the
relationships with assigned Financial Advisors, coordinating with the operations function, and
performing administrative duties
o Support and drive firm initiatives
o Maintain risk awareness and regulatory knowledge
Skills and
Preferred Qualifications o 1-3 years of relevant Branch operations experience
o Series 7 and 66 licensed, for Registered BSAs
o High School Diploma or equivalent required, College Degree recommended

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
