Position Description
The Regional Sales Manager ensures critical field sales initiatives are developed and managed effectively. The primary role is to positively impact the ability of the sales operation group to maximize retail execution through ordering, distribution, merchandising and display in the TN/KY region.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
o Develops sales operations plans for a sales territory (region) in consultation with the Director of Sales.
o Establishes sales strategies to drive profitable growth including the development of defenses against competitive threats.
o Responsible for overseeing the managing of company owned and/or as well as independent operator routes in the district.
o Leads and develops the Sales Managers in his/her region.
o Responsible for the maintenance of exceptional customer and trade relations.
o Ensures compliance with marketing plans in cooperation with the overall Market strategy.
o Acts as liaison with the Account Management Teams that are aligned with core and secondary customers to develop promotional and operational strategies.
o Assumes responsibility for implementing special projects as needed.
o Oversees overall route operations.
o Assumes full P&L responsibility for assigned region.
o Responsible for training, coaching and developing of all region associates.
o Ensures a safe working environment for all employees through proper Safety Programs promoted by the Company.
Position Requirements
Five to seven years of sales management experience with demonstrated significant accomplishments. Knowledge of DSD operations and effective leadership skills, including people development. Excellent communication and presentation skills in both large and small group environments. Account executive exposure a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
