Staff Support Associate II

Job SummaryThe College of Education seeks to employ a general support specialist to join the Undergraduate Student Success Team.
This position manages the flow of students and other clients in and out of Advising, and keeps the office open and staffed during business hours.
The position involves collaborating with other members of the Office of Student Success to communicate with students, assist with recruitment and retention activities, and maintain records.
This position involves daily communication with students, parents, staff, faculty, visitors, and off-campus constituents.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
