Job Description:
HamburgFull-Time, DaysProvides health care services using radioisotopes to assist in diagnosis or treatment (therapies).
Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT related procedures, computer processing, and related techniques to produce images for the interpretation by a Radiologist or a licensed independent practitioner.
Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.
1.
Satisfactory completion of an education program in Nuclear Medicine.
2.
Current license with the American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) N or certificate with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
3.
Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
4.
Current Advanced ARRT and/or CNMT Registry required.
PET certification recommended upon completion of 700 hours of clinical experience.
