Job Description:
Full-time, days The Physical / Occupational Therapy Technician works only under on-site supervision of a therapist / PTA.
Technician is responsible for aiding the Physical / Occupational Therapists and Assistants with safe patient care.
Technician will prepare the patient and/or the area for treatment.
He/she is responsible for maintaining the physical order of the department.
Technician will assist in transporting patients as needed.
Technician will assist with clerical duties and the orientation of new employees and volunteers as needed.
The Physical / Occupational Therapy Technician must intervene appropriately and meet the needs of patients with impaired mental abilities, vision, hearing, or mobility.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education:
