Implements sales and promotional programs with creativity and energy such that goals are achieved and quality standards are met or exceeded.
Facilitates integrated delivery of financial services and products, including customized lending, cash management, investment management, etc.

Manages the selection, placement, performance, development, promotion and termination of banking center employees.
Engages in meaningful customer conversations that will attract and deepen banking relationships.
Ensures operational efficiency and quality standards are met.
Responsible for positive community relations in the banking center market area.
Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities.
Keeps up to date on regulation changes.
Follows all Bank policies, procedures and compliance regulations.
Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Mentors and develops Banking Center Staff by providing regular feedback on performance, providing opportunities for development, writing reviews, making recommendations to reward performance exceeding standards and handling employee disciplinary issues in a professional, objective and impartial manner.
Work to increase branch efficiency and staff knowledge by ensuring employees are properly trained in teller policies and procedures, banking transactions, customer service skills, security and product knowledge and company philosophy.
Provides a complete range of customer services to businesses and individuals with an emphasis on developing and retaining new and existing business for the bank through face to face encounters, telephone calls, letters and/or personal visits.
Opens and closes deposit accounts and assumes teller duties when necessary and as needed.
May be required to take consumer loan applications and close loans as necessary.
Identifies and communicates staff training needs.
Assist with recommendations for hiring, discipline, promotion, transfers and termination of teller and customer service staff within Banking Center.
Communicates with staff regularly regarding marketing campaigns and employee incentive programs in order to achieve optimal success.
Monitors new neighborhood business opportunities and looks for creative ways to promote the bank and become a part of the neighborhood by attending ribbon cuttings and store openings.
Attends the monthly Supervisors / Banking Center Managers / Customer Service meetings in person or via conference call and communicate required content to all staff.
Oversees weekly banking center meetings and written minutes.
Review CTR's and holds for accuracy prior to sending to the main office for processing.
Assist with maintaining Safe Deposit Box function.
Proficient with Online Banking, Bill Pay, Mobile Deposit and FXIM.
Monitors general maintenance of banking center facilities, including security systems, building, grounds and equipment; and communicates needs to the appropriate support staff.
Ensures the appropriate level of vault cash, teller drawer limits and bait money in order to manage the cash needs of the banking center efficiently and securely.
Serves as contact for business customers regarding merchant credit card processing services.
Oversees maintenance and balancing of onsite ATM if applicable and coin counter if applicable.
Responsible to requisition and maintain supplies to efficiently operate the branch and service customer needs.
May be required to perform various secretarial, receptionist and administrative duties for banking center personnel.
May be required to be registered as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
Must be available to accommodate the scheduled work hours which includes Monday - Saturday.
Completes on-line compliance training as required.
Performs other duties as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises the Assistant Banking Center Manager and/or Banking Center tellers and customer service representatives.
Carries out Banking Center Manager's responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include assisting with interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED 1.
Two to five years banking experience, or retail management preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Demonstrated ability to work within and develop a team environment.
3.
Effective coaching and mentoring skills.
4.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively.
5.
Demonstrated sales and service skills.
6.
Proficiency with banking computer systems and related software is preferred.
7.
Thorough knowledge of bank's products and services.
8.
Thorough knowledge of regulatory, policy and compliance issues.
9.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
10.
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
11.
Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance.
12.
Excellent interpersonal skills and characteristics necessary to interact communicate and relate to clients and bank personnel effectively.
13.
A self-starter and self-motivated with ability to work independently.
14.
Represents the bank in the community by participating in civic/community events/ activities.
15.
Must be available to work on Saturday.
