We are seeking a detail-oriented Credentialing Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will ensure that all healthcare providers meet the necessary qualifications and standards for practicing in our surgery center.
This position will cross-train to provide assistance with other functions of the business office.
Responsibilities:
- Secure the necessary information to process initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications - Primary source verify provider credentials, licenses, certifications, education and accreditations - Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements - Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider information and privileging - Communicate with providers and their offices to obtain missing or incomplete information - Resolve credentialing issues promptly - Assist with other business office functions as needed Skills:
- Some credentialing/privileging experience preferred - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Knowledge of medical office operations and procedures a must Weekdays only, paid holidays, excellent benefits.
