00pm Job Summary The Research Compliance Officer in the Office of Corporate Compliance (OCC) will report directly to the Assistant Chief Compliance Officer and be responsible for developing, assessing and overseeing the OCC Research Compliance plan to ensure compliance with significant laws and regulations, including Protection of Human Subjects, FDA regulations, the Common Rule, and Routine Costs in Clinical Trials.
This position will also support the OCC in facilitating and reporting on the compliance risk assessment process, and will work with OCC leadership to promote quality and effectiveness of compliance activity.
IEBC (Internal Employee Being Considered) This position has been identified as supporting UK HealthCare, which receives funding from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
Therefore, all individuals hired into this position must comply with the federal CMS mandate issued in March of 2022.
This mandate requires all new hires to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved medical or religious exemption as a condition of employment.
Start of employment cannot occur until two weeks after receiving the full COVID-19 vaccination series or upon obtaining an approved exemption.
Only vaccines approved by the World Health Organization can be accepted.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience Master's degree and experience in healthcare compliance highly preferred.
