Required License/Registration/Certification None Physical Requirements Some possible lifting (mailbags and packages); and sitting for the majority of the day at the front desk of an undergraduate residence hall.
Shift 7:
30 am-4:
00 pm, Monday-Friday when the residence halls are open during the fall and spring semesters.
Job Summary Some of the department's most important goals are to maintain security in our facilities and to develop welcoming, helpful communities on campus.
The Office Assistant is one of the front-line staff members in this effort.
Responsibilities include engaging with residents, guests, and University personnel in a helpful and friendly manner to answer questions and provide resources; providing desk and phone coverage in a friendly, prompt, and reliable manner; maintaining accurate housing information and be organized and timely with any corrections; responding promptly to issues involving the Housing Assignments Office; working with the Senior Staff to review payroll process for accuracy; and maintaining and submitting reconciliation forms.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
