Summary:
The position plays a crucial role in defining and prioritizing product requirements and developing use cases for new product development.
Related activities include co-leading the effort to implement the new requirements.
This position is a combination of Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, Trainer, and Support that gathers and documents requirements/business processes from customers, recommends the best way to utilize the Clearview Jury, Avenu Jury, eJuror, Qualification and Attendance applications to meet those requirements and processes.
Configures and trains the client on the applications.
Incumbents also document and provide recommendations for best practices to handle gaps in between processes and systems.
Often work with clients that have complex application issues and maintain great working relationships with clients through the life of the project and beyond.
This position also works closely with the sales team and product/account managers providing demonstrations of the application to potential clients and responding to RFPs.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Define and prioritize project and product requirements.
Develop use cases for customizations and new product development.
Client-facing role.
Travel (many times during weekends or holidays).
Gather requirement and business process information from clients and turn into logical use cases to be implemented through software.
Analyze client business processes and make recommendations for improvement, including how to utilize Clearview Jury, Avenu Jury and associated applications for maximum time and budget savings.
Understand and map client requirements to application capabilities and recommend the best way to deal with the gaps.
Conduct end-to-end training to the client on the Clearview Jury, Avenu Jury and associated applications.
Assist with configuration of the applications.
Troubleshoot client and internally reported defects with the applications.
Document issues such that they are understood by both functional and technical resources.
Document solutions to issues such that they are understood by client functional and technical resources.
Understand enough of the technical architecture of the applications that assistance may be provided to clients for Report Writer training.
Test the applications for compliance with use cases and client needs.
Education and
Experience:
High school graduate; some college work preferred.
At least five years working in a court environment, with jury clerk/administration experience being highly recommended.
At least one year of experience leading in-person and remote training sessions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills in-person, on the phone, and in writing.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking.
Patience.
Ability to work with a diverse team across the globe.
Work Environment:
The work environment for this position changes frequently from an office environment, to airports and airplanes, hotels, and client sites in courthouses or other government buildings.
