Summary:
Repair and maintain rental properties and ensure that customers receive exceptional customer service.
Repair all work orders to customers' satisfaction and to company quality standards within appropriate time frame.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Handle general plumbing problems such as commodes, stop ups, leaky faucets and clean drains.
Replace or repair hot water heaters, thermostats and heating elements.
Prelease vacant units, using prelease checklist.
Pick up grounds Maintain or replace plumbing fixtures such as sinks, faucets, commodes when needed.
General repairs such as drywall as needed Repair roof leaks and other water leaks repair or replace electrical switches, outlets, GFI outlets and circuit breakers.
Repair or replace appliances such as stoves, and refrigerators.
Purchase material as needed to complete projects.
Install and replace gutters when needed.
Place monthly stock order.
Maintain A/C units such as check for leaks, change filters and clean coils.
Keep shop clean and organized.
Perform monthly property inspections.
Remove snow from sidewalks as needed Supervise maintenance technician.
Other duties as needed or requested by supervisors.
Education and Skills Required High school education/GED Knowledge and understanding of all power and plumbing tools Broad maintenance background 2 years experience in maintenance Ability to positively interact with customers and/or co-workers Job Type:
