Job Summary The Gatton College seeks a self-motivated, highly organized Department Academic Administration Associate for the college's Department of Management.
Responsibilities center on supporting department leaders , faculty, students, and other members of the Gatton community with matters related to academic programming, finances, travel, events, and various administrative tasks.
Academic support includes but not limited to development of the department class schedule, monitoring enrollment, applications and admissions, and managing teaching contracts, DOEs, and overloads.
Administrative support includes but not limited to travel, Procard, workshops, conferences, guests of the department, promotion and tenure dossiers, onboarding of faculty, and monitoring supplies.
The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and administrative skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize projects and maintain accuracy, and excellent customer service and communications skills.
Further, this position requires someone who will model and promote excellent customer service for internal and external community members and stakeholders and be willing to expand his/her professional skills and knowledge through training, classes, and seminars on UK Policy, procedures, and systems.
