Financial Compliance Manager

Currently we have a Financial Compliance Manager role open.
As the Financial Compliance Manager one will maintain documentation of business processes and related risk and controls, as well as design and implement testing plans of key controls.
Essential functions of the position include:
Provide senior management sufficient documentation to assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal control over financial reporting as required by JSOX.
Maintain updated documentation of business processes and related risks and controls as required by JSOX.
Develop test plans and test key controls, identifying, communicating and assisting business process owners in remediation of deficiencies.
Function as a liaison between the outside consultants and LBC IT Department in the documentation, evaluation, testing and remediation of IT controls.
Maintain updated documentation of business processes and related risks and controls including the development of test plans and actual testing and remediation of processes outside the scope of JSOX (payroll, fixed assets, cash management and other main processes).
Develop individual audit plans and planning documentation specific to the engagement needs, while performing the audits with integrity, objectivity, confidentiality and competency.
Provide timely, efficient, and effective JSOX compliance and audit reporting to senior management with the goal of minimizing business risks, improving internal controls and business processes.
Work closely with the external auditors to understand testing requirements and documentation to support their audit of the effectiveness of management's assessment of internal control over financial reporting as required by JSOX.
Function as primary liaison between SHI and the company in understanding, completing and providing documentation to support the JSOX process at SHI.
Perform other business analysis and functions as requested as long as they don't impair or give the impression of impairing independence.
General qualifications for this role:
Four year college degree in Accounting, Finance or similar business discipline Minimum of four (4) years' of auditing experience preferably some in a manufacturing environment.
