Morning Pointe Senior Living is excited to offer an environment for managers to utilize their skills and develop their career in senior healthcare services.
Morning Pointe has created the Executive Director in Training (EDIT) Program to attract and train potential assisted living executive director.
The program will offer a multi-month comprehensive training program to learn the role of a Director relating to all areas of a senior living facility including leadership, operational excellence, and delivering an award winning Morning Pointe experience.

Executive Directors in training gain experience in the following core areas of assisted living management and operations.
A typical EDIT participant will spend no less than 20 hours of service in each core discipline, with additional time dedicated for specific problem solving.
Travel to a variety of Morning Pointe communities is typical.
Upon graduation Executive Directors in training will be placed in a Morning Pointe location within their program's region.
Requirements Ability to obtain a state Administrator license as required by the state during the course of this training program.
Completion of a two-year associate degree at minimum from an accredited college/university.
Areas of study should be associated with business administration, health services, medical/clinical or related programs as approved by the Morning Pointe corporate office.
Exceptions may be made for proven performance in prior career path.
Provide a minimum of three letters of recommendation from professionals referencing either past work performance or character evaluation.
Pass a background check, drug screen and other employment tests.
Willingness and ability to relocate.
Program Description1.
Regulatory ComplianceBecome knowledgeable of current state health regulations for assisted living and related business.
Successfully experience a state survey of an existing building and become familiar with reporting and correction action plans.
Attend state advisory board meetings and become familiar with related state programs and agencies for senior living services.
Become knowledgeable of local health department regulations and understand permitting and testing requirements.

Physical PlantBecome knowledgeable of all manuals, specifications and operation of building and life safety systems, including but not limited to fire alarm system, nurse call system, security systems; etc.
Spend time with the corporate Facility Manager in orientation on building systems, first impressions, preventive maintenance, budgets, etc.
Human ResourcesBecome knowledgeable with the Morning Pointe Associate Handbook and related policies and procedures in the company manuals.
Develop personnel management skills including training, development, leadership, mentoring, coaching and discipline.
Contribute to team building, through recruiting, selecting and hiring Morning Pointe staff.

Financial ServicesBecome knowledgeable of the office administration manual.
Gain financial literacy through resident billing procedures; collection of payments and past-due accounts; monthly and annual budget review.
5.
Customer ServiceEmbody and promote Morning Pointe's expectations for exceeding customer service.
6.
Clinical ServicesBecome knowledgeable of policies and procedures related to the clinical services.
LPN daily scheduling, roles and duties.
7.
Marketing, Sales, Public RelationsSpend active time creating and completing roles relating to marketing plans, press releases, census development programs, etc.
8.
Dietary ServicesGain hands on experience dietary services activities such as menu planning; meal preparation and cleaning procedures.
9.
Activities, Lifestyle programsBecome familiar and participate in activities and life style programs.
Upon completion of the noted core requirements EDITs should begin the process to obtain state certification as a licensed administrator in their respective state.
As Executive Director positions become available, Morning Pointe managers will discuss potential placement options and seek to hire from within when appropriate.
It should be understood that completion of the Executive Director in Training Program does not ensure immediate placement as an Executive Director in a Morning Pointe community.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
