## Description
This position is managed by a Hyatt franchise partner, not Hyatt Hotels Corporation. The management company for this property will be communicating the status of applicants submitted.
To assist the Director of Revenue and work closely with Sales and Marketing and other relevant Rooms Departments to maximize Room Yield through Inventory Control while delivering exceptional customer service utilizing Hyatt Brand Standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To oversee the taking and processing of rooms reservations according to hotel and company guidelines
To administer the loading of new rates into the relevant reservation systems, including testing and deployment
To work with other Rooms Department and assist controlling rooms inventory, to maximize rooms sales, yield and average room rate through up-selling and other inventory and rate management initiatives
To oversee and assist with the processing of individual and group reservations, rooming lists, waitlists and other reservations
To assist the Director of Revenue with preparation of weekly forecasts and financial reporting
To build strong relationships with sources of bookings and work closely with the Marketing Department in maintaining and developing these relationships
To ensure that all company minimum brand standards have been implemented, and that optional brand standards have been implemented where appropriate
To work closely with other management personnel in a supportive and flexible role, focusing on the overall success of the hotel revenue goals and the satisfaction of hotel guests
To monitor and follow up on group blocks and bookings via room list or individual call ins
To ensure that all guest details are entered into PMS correctly as outlined in Group Sales Bookings and Group Resumes
## Qualifications
Education: High School education or equivalent experience.Experience: Must possess at least one full year of experience in a related position.
Requires working knowledge of Rooms Operations, Front Desk, Reservations and TPG's
services
, policies and operations.

Requires proficient knowledge of and the ability to operate
computer
equipment systems and the reservation system

Must possess strong written and verbal English skill

Must be able to multi-task in a high volume stress environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
