This position will be based in Lexington, KY.
Employee Relations Specialist
This role functions in a call center team environment and as such, you will provide support to employees and managers in each of Ashland's operating units through policy interpretation, conflict resolution and statistical analysis.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of broad Human Resources experience with a concentration in providing employee relations and conflict resolution support to managers and employees. Candidates must possess working knowledge of Federal and State employment laws, strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrated project management and customer service skills along with the ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels within the organization. Additionally, they will have experience in employee/manager coaching, performance management, conducting internal incident investigations, facilitating training and utilizing statistics to create business cases for improvement in workforce effectiveness.
To qualify, you will need the following:
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 3 years of broad Human Resources experience.
SHRM, PHR certification a plus!
Comfort with instructing small and large groups
Willingness to do periodic travel
Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States
This job is based on a ladder structure and the job level (salary) will be determined by the quantity and quality of your experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
