Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to assume the role of Manufacturing Supervisor at our Lexington, KY Plant. In this role you will coordinate the day-to-day manufacturing activities of production workers to meet the production schedules, volume, cost and quality standards.
Responsibilities include:
o Assists in maintaining a goal-oriented, safe, and quality-conscious working environment
o Operator arrangement and make sure to complete the manufacturing orders are on time with good quality
o Ensure finish goods ship on time
o Operator training (multi-skill) arrangement, improve productivity and efficiency
o Reduce scrape rate
o Handle and coordinate quality problems occurring on production line
o Complete monthly production report, quality records and operator evaluations on time
Requirements:
o Bachelor''s degree preferably in Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering
o Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
o Knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems
o Strong leadership skills
o Familiarity with SAP would be an asset
