Equipment Specialist - 2nd shift

This Equipment Specialist will be starting on 2nd shift for this expanding manufacturer northeast of Lexington, KY (within commuting distance of Lexington and Frankfort). This position will support the plant technical operations. Position reports to the Maintenance Manager. Company needs someone to be the Subject Matter Expert - who needs a well rounded skill set with PLC controls, AutoCAD, pneumatic and hydraulic design and repair. If you have at least of 1 year of supervision experience that would be very helpful. Company is really looking for a promotable, energetic person to grow with the company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will work on special assignments designated by the Maintenance & Engineering Manager.
Will assist in the relief of plant technical staff during absences from the plant.
Will research, design and implement new technology to improve equipment performance and quality to the customer.
Will help in the implementation and continuous use of the preventive maintenance program.
REQUIREMENTS:
Industrial equipment experience of at least 3-5 years, PLC controls, AutoCAD, pneumatic and hydraulic design and repair.
Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience in programming and troubleshooting PLC and SLC ladder logic using both RS Logix and 6200 series software.
Experience in operator interface programming such as panel views.
Familiarity with different servo controlled systems.
Ability to read and/or interpret engineering drawings (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical)
Proficiency with computer aided drawing software, i.e. AutoCAD.
Ability to size electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic circuits.
Proficiency with MS Office products required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Maintain strict confidentiality of any proprietary business-related information to which entrusted.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
