CLARK Material Handling Company, a global leader in the material handling industry, located in Lexington, KY is seeking a BaaN Programmer Analyst
Position Objective/
Summary:
The overall goal for this position is to analyze and meet the needs of the Company's business by providing quality technical support for existing and new BaaN ERP systems, assume a leadership role in coding, designing, implementing and debugging existing programs and enhancements as requiredit is also required of the ideal candidate to coordinate with programmers involved in any e-commerce or web integrated platforms that are using BaaN source systems .
Essential Functions:
The incumbent must be able to effectively produce expected programming results and successfully support the following:
This position reports directly to the CFO & V.P. of Information Technology, and will be responsible to assist with implementing and management of special projects and tasks within areas of BaaN ERP & all BaaN systems
Gain a working knowledge of users tasks and interactions with BaaN programs to enhance existing programs and develop new programs to increase overall efficiency and productivity within the organization
Perform testing scenarios for new or existing programs, working in coordination with various user groups, and report documented results clearly and concisely
Manage multiple projects and tasks of varying length and complexity, possess effective project management skills to meet and exceed deadlines and targets
Coordinate software and hardware maintenance with designated vendors and service providers to ensure timely service and necessary upgrades of all software and hardware as required.
This position will also be responsible for user administration and will serve as the primary administrator for BaaN systems. Responsible for both locations in Kentucky, namely Lexington and Louisville, there may be some travel involved between sites. Corporate offices are located in Lexington, Kentucky
Coordinate activities with help desk, network services, or other information systems groups. Assist with after-hours support as needed.
Minimum QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree at a minimum in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
Preferred prior
Experience: BaaN, WM Manhattan, ,I-SERIES (AS 400) administration with background in distribution warehousing and manufacturing.
Minimum of five years programming experience with I-SERIES (AS 400), RPG III / IV, CL, DDS, SDA and QRY, Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan), manufacturing background is a plus
Must have indefinite legal authority to work in US.
