Apartment Maintenance

Miller-Valentine Group, Residential Property Management division, is seeking a full time Residential Property Maintenance Technician for our new luxury apartment community, Waterstone at Hamburg in the Lexington KY area. The ideal candidate is a team player who is experienced in maintenance, is capable of working with little or supervision, and has the ability to respond to after-hour emergencies. Background check, Motor Vehicle report, drug screening and physical are required for employment.

Responsibilities will include performing repairs and maintaining the apartment units at occupancy ready status. Some coordination of outside vendors may be required. Other responsibilities will include maintenance of site grounds and all common areas, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a team player who is experienced in maintenance, is capable of working with little supervision, and has the ability to respond to after-hour emergencies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 3 (three) years maintenance experience. Apartment maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Experience with new construction is preferred.
  • HVAC Certification is required. Swimming Pool Certification is required.
  • Proven plumbing, electrical and painting experience is required.
  • Must have own tools and transportation and the ability to respond to after-hour emergencies.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
