Field Service Supervisor (Hot Side)

The Field Service Supervisor serves in the dual role of Service Technician as well as Supervisor. This individual is responsible for providing customer service in the field, maintaining and repairing commercial kitchen equipment. In addition, the Field Service Supervisor supports the Field Service Technicians as assigned and resolves customer service issues that directly impact the assigned technicians.
Responsibilities
Respond to Customer Service Requests (service calls)
Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment
Communicate with customers and branch office regarding status of repairs
Complete service tickets according to procedures
Maintaining current vehicle inventory, cleanliness and maintenance
Performing manual tasks such as:
bending, reaching, standing, lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs., or maneuvering heavier items with additional manpower or appropriate devices
Assist Service Manager in determining Technician truck stock
Assist assigned technicians with technical support, Alert support and training
Assist in facilitating monthly technician and safety meetings
Perform/Assist with technician performance reviews
Train new technicians as assigned on proper execution of service or PM's
Perform monthly truck inspections
Assist Branch or Service Manager in hiring process and disciplinary process of assigned technicians
Dispatch on call jobs to appropriate technician
Qualifications
High school graduate/GED or the equivalent
Mechanically inclined and has experience repairing commercial cooking equipment
CFESA certified (Master preferred)
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Experience of electrical and control circuit knowledge
Working knowledge of computer systems
Accurately and promptly completes required paperwork
Own industry's standard hand tools
Successfully complete and pass:
a criminal background check, drug test, and driver's license check
