Program Support Assistant - Databases

The major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
ANALYTICAL 50% Plays a key role in collecting, analyzing, tracking, organizing, and interpreting various data/ surveys/ questionnaires. Knowledge of the purpose, operation, methodology and techniques of Community Based intervention for Suicide Prevention is needed to perform these functions effectively. Enters, updates, and assists in analyzing data for CEPCs. Assist in assessing and tracking workflow of CEPCs and help adjust ensure adequate workload capture. ADMINISTRATIVE 50% Creates complex databases for the CEPCs to include all SPC-SP interventions Assist with development of communication products Assist CEPC with Implementing VHA Community-Based Interventions for Suicide Prevention. Assist with development of community-based suicide prevention programs as defined and supported by the VHA Suicide Prevention Program; Assist with developing and coordinating graphics requirements, including databases, tables and spreadsheets to complement communications materials. This is a TERM appointment (not-to-exceed 3 years). Term appointments are non-status, nonpermanent appointments of limited duration (more than 1 year but not more than 4). Experience:
You must have one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-6) in Federal service that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience includes:
collecting, analyzing, tracking, organizing, and interpreting various data/surveys/ questionnaires; entering, updating, and assisting in analyzing data; assisting in developing and coordinating graphics, including databases, tables and spreadsheets. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
