Vehicle Description MOTIVATED SELLER! More photos coming soon! This is a rare amazing muscle car with a 327 CI High Performance 4 Barrel carburetor.
This car was AMC's answer to the Pontiac GTO and was considered to be one of the fastest muscle cars in 1966 matching the 0 to 60 performance of the legendary Pontiac GTO.
This model car was only in production for 3 years, making it a rare collectible.
1966 was the year that AMC produced this model in the GTO-size muscle car.
The Marlin in 1967 was produced in a larger model, with more family car characteristics which reduced its performance significantly.
This made the 1966 Marlin the most sought after year.
Also, the limited production of this model and dramatic body styling makes it even more desirable.
This car may be the only fully restored high performance model in existence.
A complete frame off restoration with documented photos costing over $60,000 has made it one of the more unique muscle cars in the market.
Not only is it a beautiful color combination with ultra high-end new paint but the fastback design with bucket seats and console is a super desirable rare configuration.
Considered to be one of the fastest muscle cars in 1966 matching the 0 to 60 performance of the legendary Pontiac GTO.
A must have for any AMC or muscle car collector.
This is an example of a very drivable show car and has won many awards for its uniqueness and the quality of its restoration.
For an AMC car collector, this is a highly sought after and extremely appreciable vehicle.
Due to space limitations, we have priced this vehicle very aggressively.
It had been part of a private collection in a temperature controlled and professionally maintained museum.
